Acceptable Use Policy

1Do not use Nexlot to break market law

You may not use Nexlot to carry out, assist, or conceal market abuse. That includes, without limitation:

• Market manipulation — wash trading, spoofing, layering, quote stuffing, ramping, or any strategy whose purpose is to create a misleading impression of supply, demand, or price.
• Insider dealing — trading on material non-public information, or building a strategy that acts on it.
• Coordinated schemes — pump-and-dump operations, or executing the trading leg of one run elsewhere.

These are criminal offences in most jurisdictions, including under the EU Market Abuse Regulation. We will cooperate with a lawful request from a regulator or law enforcement, and we will not tip you off where we are legally barred from doing so.

2Do not provide financial services through Nexlot

Nexlot is licensed to you for your own trading. You may not use it to:

• Manage money or trade on behalf of anyone else.
• Sell, publish, or distribute trading signals generated with it, whether for money or not.
• Offer advisory, portfolio management, or order-transmission services to third parties, in your own name or ours.
• Operate a copy-trading, pooled-fund, or profit-sharing arrangement on top of it.

Doing any of these generally requires authorisation from a financial regulator. If you do it without one, that is your offence — but it also drags Nexlot into it, which is why it is prohibited outright rather than discouraged.

3Credentials and accounts

• One account per person. Do not share a login.
• Do not connect exchange API keys that are not yours, or that you do not have permission to use.
• Do not connect keys with withdrawal permission enabled. Nexlot never needs it, and enabling it turns a compromised key into a drained account.
• Do not attempt to access another user's data, strategies, or account.

4Technical limits

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the service or resell data obtained through it.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, encryption, or usage restrictions.
• Probe, scan, or stress-test the infrastructure without written permission. If you have found a vulnerability, report it to support@nexlots.com — we would rather hear from you than from an attacker, and we will not pursue anyone who reports in good faith and does not exfiltrate data.
• Upload malware, or run code intended to damage the service or other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source from the desktop application, except to the extent that mandatory law permits it.
• Resell, sublicense, or rent access to the service.

5Content you submit

Journal entries, strategy names, and anything shared in community features must not be unlawful, defamatory, or infringing, and must not contain another person's data you have no right to hold. Do not paste other people's credentials into a journal note.

6What happens if you breach this

Depending on what has happened and how serious it is, we may warn you, disable a feature, suspend the account, or close it. Where a breach is deliberate, criminal, or puts other users at risk, we may act immediately and without warning.

Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you what the problem is and give you the opportunity to correct it first. If we close your account you can still export your data, unless a legal obligation prevents it.

Clause 10 of the Terms of Service sets out your responsibility to us if a third party brings a claim because of how you used the service.
